For the Via Crucis, The Lord of Passion in the robes of acanthus leaves.

In the past Cabildo Officers, it was agreed that the Sacred Image will carry on the Via Crucis next February, embroidered tunic called “acanthus leaves”, Sponsorship works López (commissioned in 1867 and released in 1869).

This tunic has been carried by the Lord in internal cults, besapié and Novena.

The Sacred Image will crown of thorns and powers, It is placed in its path on a hill plant exorno.

Accompanying omitted other insignia except Guiding Cross and banner, brothers wearing only candles.

The estimated journey will last around an hour and forty minutes.

Travel: Salvador, Alvarez Quintero, Chapineros, Franks, Placentines, Argote de Molina, German and Plaza Virgen de los Reyes.

Return journey: San Miguel Gate, Constitution Avenue, Plaza de San Francisco, Sierpes, Sagasta and Salvador.
